I haven't used the Carbatec model but it seems a very similar design. As I said the finish on the Performax is excellent and it has continued to do a great job for me. So I would be inclined to pay the few extra dollars and go with Performax. That said, I have no reason to think the Carbatec model won't do the job. Thanks Ross.
